CurVoxels Design Research Group is a academic design team investigating computational design methodologies for additive manufacturing and 3D printing in architecture. CurVoxels founded in Research Cluster 4, MArch Architectural Design, Wonderlab, The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, directed by Ar. Manuel Jiménez García (MArch AD WonderLab, Research Cluster4 Tutor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, London) and Ar. Gilles Retsin (MArch AD WonderLab, Research Cluster 4 Tutor at The Bartlett School of Architecture, London).
CurVoxels won the Gold Track Award for the best project of the year in MArch Architectural Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Spatial Curves project has been published in Dezeen, Designboom and many more, and exhibited at The Bartlett's B-Pro Show 2015 graduation exhibition in London, UK, Synthetic 2015 in Le Mans, France and Zaha Hadid Design Gallery in London, UK.
